Ten Strikers Arsenal Should Look Out for In January

With the winter transfer window just few days away, Arsene Wenger must be getting ready to solve his side's striker problem. Giroud has been the only striker in the team since the start of this campaign, but the Frenchman seems not capable and sufficient enough for the Gunners.

Although, Arsenal has not really suffered in front of goal as midfielders such as Ramsey and Theo Walcott have stood up to the task. But a major striker signing in the January transfer window will boost Arsenal's season.

Here are ten strikers Arsenal could realistically sign this January, but only if Arsene Wenger is ready to splash the cash.

DIEGO COSTA- Atletico Madrid
The Brazilian (who'd rather play for Spain) would be an absolutely incredible signing for any club in Europe, and Arsenal are no
exception. He's already bagged 19 goals this season in La Liga, which makes him the joint top scorer in European league football, along
with Liverpool's Luis Suarez. Atletico have a history of selling their star strikers (Fernando
Torres, Sergio Aguero, Falcao), and could be tempted with an enormous offer. Costa is proving he's worth it, and Arsenal should take the risk and make a mammoth bid.

KONSTANTINOS MITROGLOU - Olympiakos
The 25-year-old is another striker having an excellent season, and is displaying his exceptional talent to the whole of Europe. Mitroglou has bagged 16 in all competitions for his Greek club this term, including three in the Champions League. Due to Olympiakos's financial situation, Arsenal could potentially snap him up for a bargain fee, too.

RADAMEL FALCAO - AS Monaco
There really needs to be no explanation as to why Falcao would be a good signing for Arsenal. Over the past few seasons,he's proved himself to be one of the world's deadliest finishers. As a centre-forward, he's got  absolutely everything, which prompted Monaco to spend £53m on him in the summer. The Colombian is rumoured to be unhappy in
France though, and although he would break the bank, Falcao could quite possibly secure
Arsenal a Premier League title.

GIUSEPPE ROSSI - Fiorentina
The former Manchester United wonderkid now plies his trade in Serie A, following lengthy spells out of the game with injury. When fit
though, he scores goals, and a lot of them. In Italy, he's bagged 15 already this term, and at 26-years-old, Arsenal would be getting the
Italian forward as he enters his peak years.

BURAK YILMAS - Galatasaray
The Turkish forward starts up top with Didier Drogba for the Champions League outfit, who are set to take on Chelsea in the last 16 inFebruary. He's scored ten in the Turkish league this term, and can be deployed from the left of
a front three too, in a similar way to current Gunners star Lukas Podolski. Yilmaz is excellent on the ball, and his pace makes him
threatening in behind the defence.

MAX KRUSE - Borussia Moenchengladbach
Kruse is similar to Arsenal's Olivier Giroud in that he acts as a spearhead for his side, and holds the ball up excellently. Kruse has bagged eight goals so far this term, but offers a lot in terms of link up play outside the box. His stocky, powerful frame would seemingly suit the Premier League, too.

STEFAN KIESSLING - Bayer Leverkusen
The German is prolific in front of goal, and would be capable of finishing off the chances Arsenal's brilliant creative midfielders supply. This term for Leverkusen, he's bagged nine, following on from last term's excellent 27 goal
haul. At 29, he isn't getting any younger, but could well be a solid short term fix.

ALVARO MORATA - Real Madrid
The young Spaniard might just be the most realistic option on this list, and he'd provide Arsenal with an exciting and pacey backup option for Giroud. He's only been given two starts in La Liga this term, but oozes with talent, and would be a real coup for Arsenal if they could borrow him for six months off the
Spanish giant.

VINCENT ABOUBAKAR - Lorient
At just 21-years-old, Aboubakar is emerging as a seriously talented striker. The Cameroonian has scored 11 goals in Ligue 1 so far this term, and is an excellent, exciting dribbler; as well as
a powerful shooter. Wenger has shown in the past he's not afraid to sign players from the French leagues, and Aboubakar is already
proving that he's capable of making the step up.

ROBERT LEWANDOSKI - Borussia Dortmund
No one truly knows what's going on with the excellent Pole, whose contract expires at the end of the season. In this respect, a transfer
fee wouldn't be a problem, but persuading Lewandowski to move to the Premier League instead of Bayern Munich on a free at the end
of the campaign could well be. His current club would obviously prefer that he leaves the Bundesliga, which could help Arsenal if they aggressively target the forward who bagged 36
goals last term.
